Set standards and stick to them
Our job as front-end web developers is to be sure that data coming from the back-end will be display correctly for the end users. That's means that users can navigate through the site and access to all the information. This simple sentence involves analyzing the information properly and deliver an universal and multi-cultural site. As developers can focus our work in monitoring, since the original conception of ideas and research through briefings+concept art (pre-concept/sketches) , to test the adaptability of a web application or project to many systems and paths to see the information. There are many mistakes in a development process that must be fixed:
And if any of this happen, the project would be ruined and discredited. For these many reasons that we explain, we usually work with an order and a structure scheduled with some phases tested previously. If our task is limited to certain areas, we can always monitor the work done by us led to the later stages by other developers (web developers) in order to hang on the original aesthetic and quality desired.
In web development we often work with W3C standards, standards that allow proper validation in different formats with flexible and optimized reading of data from different layouts developed. If you are not considered in these areas, you'll be in serious troubles. Following the standards, you ensure that there is an integrated unit between the interpretation of data from different formats and browsers screen results (crossbrowsing).
